Howdy! My name is Gregory and I'm the artist & designer behind Shipwreck Press. I'm a self-taught artist who has been designing and making paper art and cards for 10 years now.

As a freshly graduated twenty-something with an English degree and not much else, I learned to make paper art on the internet in order to make cheap Christmas presents for friends and family. After rave friends and family reviews, I decided to press on!

I started with little gallery shows in Austin, Texas where I sold my first pieces and delighted in the secret that I had no formal art training, until I decided I wanted to combine my love of paper art with my love of the written word. Shipwreck Press is about getting people to think differently about correspondence, and inspiring better communication and correspondence between you and the people you love.
